LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Basketball weekly award winners on Tuesday, as Marymount’s Chandler Eddleton and Immaculata’s Tessa Liberatoscioli earned Player and Defensive Player of the week honors.

Name: Chandler Eddleton
School: Marymount

Brief Outlook of Week: Eddleton scored 28 points and grabbed 14 rebounds on the road against the reigning national runners-up and No. 5 team in the nation, Christopher Newport on Wednesday. On Saturday, she added another impressive performance (24 points, 13 rebounds) against Centenary, who was previously unbeaten in conference play. In the two game week Eddleton averaged 26.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, two steals and two assists per contest.
Defensive Player of the Week:
Name: Tessa Liberatoscioli
School: Immaculata
Class: Senior

Hometown: Malvern, Pa.
High School: Great Valley
Brief Outlook of Week: Liberatoscioli had 18 rebounds, four blocked shots, 10 steals, to go along with 19 assists and 29 points over two games leading Immaculata to a pair of Atlantic East Conference wins. She had 11 rebounds, one blocked shot, and five steals to go along with 12 points and 11 assists recording the program's first triple-double since 2008 leading Immaculata to an Atlantic East win over Marywood on January 10th. She had seven rebounds, three blocked shots, and five steals to go along with 17 points and eight assists in the Mighty Macs Atlantic East win over Neumann on January 13th.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Lynzie Eggers (Sr., Guard, Gwynedd Mercy): Eggers finished the conference week with 15 points and 12 rebounds in the one game week. The senior also added one assist, one steal and two blocks in the tough overtime loss to Centenary. The 12 rebounds were a career high for the guard.
