LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Basketball weekly award winners on Monday, as Centenary Vatijah Davis and Tessa Liberatoscioli earned Player and Defensive Player of the week honors.
Player of the Week:
Name: Vatijah Davis
School: Centenary

Brief Outlook of Week: Davis led Centenary to a 1-0 week with an Atlantic East Conference win over Neumann. The first year scored 27 points with 12 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals. Davis tallied her 9
th consecutive double-double which is tied for second in the country.
Defensive Player of the Week:
Name: Tessa Liberatoscioli
School: Immaculata
Class: Senior
Position: Guard
Hometown: Malvern, Pa.
High School: Great Valley
Brief Outlook of Week: Liberatoscioli had a combined eight rebounds including six defensive rebounds, with four blocked shots, and four steals to go along with 18 points over two games. She had five rebounds including four defensive rebounds, with one blocked shot and three steals to go along with 14 points scored vs Marymount on January 3rd. She had three rebounds including two defensive rebounds, with one steal and three blocked shots to go along with four points in the Mighty Macs win over Penn State Brandywine on January 6th.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Terra Dzambo (Sr., Guard Gwynedd Mercy): In a 2-0 week for the Saints, Dzambo was pesky on defense. In helping Marymount escape with a conference-opening win over Immaculata, Dzambo nabbed three steals and had a block. She also picked up a steal against Marywood. On the other end, she aveaged 10.5 points and 2.5 rebounds per game for the week.
Lynzie Eggers (Sr., Guard Gwynedd Mercy): Eggers led the Griffins across two games this week. The senior averaged 10.5 points per game, with 5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. To open conference play Eggers had 13 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals in the home loss to Neumann(60-63). The senior tallied a team high 18 points, six rebounds, and three assists, and two steals in the road loss to Gallaudet (73-77).
Lauren Klieber (Jr., Guard, Neumann): Klieber averaged 27.5 points as Neumann opened conference action going 1-1. In a 63-60 win at Gwynedd Mercy, the junior scored 26 points and grabbed eight rebounds. She went 8-for-10 from the line including 6-for-6 in the final minute to get the win. Klieber followed with 29 points at Centenary.
Abigail Lentowski (Jr., Forward, Immaculata): Lentowski scored a combined 41 points, shooting 15-for-20 (.750), with 10 rebounds, three assists, and five steals in two games this week. Lentowski tied for a game high 22 points, with five rebounds, and three steals vs Marymount on January 3rd. She had a game high 19 points, shooting 8-for-8 from the field and 3-for-3 from the stripe, with five rebounds and two steals to lead Immaculata to a win over Penn State Brandywine on January 6th.
Gabby Marinacci (Sr., Guard Gwynedd Mercy): Marinacci totaled nine steals while averaging 11.5 points per game, 1.5 rebounds per game and 5.5 assists per game in a 0-2 week versus Neumann (L, 60-63) and Gallaudet (L, 73-77). She first totaled 11 points, two rebounds, six assists, and five steals in a home AEC loss to the Knights, then offered 12 points, a rebound, five assists, and four steals in a road loss to the Bison.
