Marymount's Barr and Pratt's Grant Awarded Women's Basketball Weekly Honors

HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Basketball weekly award winners on Monday, as Marymount’s Kaylah Barr was named Player of the Week and Kylie Grant of Pratt was named Defensive Player of the Week.

Player of the Week: Kaylah Barr
School: Marymount
Class: Sophomore
Position: Guard
Hometown: Manhattan, N.Y.
High School: Bishop Loughlin Memorial
Brief Outlook of Week: Barr put up 23.5 points per game over the weekend at the Townebank Tip-Off, hosted by Virginia Wesleyan University, with four rebounds per game and two assists per game. In Marymount's win over Washington College on Sunday, Barr dropped 33 points, scoring over half the team’s total, a new career-high, while shooting 47.6% from the floor, adding a block and six rebounds. 

Defensive Player of the Week: Kylie Grant
School: Pratt 
Class: Fifth Year
Position: Guard
Hometown: Dallas, Texas
High School: Millenium
Brief Outlook of Week: Grant averaged 5.5 steals, 6.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 8.0 points in 24 minutes over two games. Grant erupted for 10 steals coupled with 11 points, seven rebounds and six assists in 22 minutes against York (N.Y.). She closed out the week adding six rebounds, one steal, one 3-pointer and one assist against St. Joseph’s (L.I.). 

 

Weekly Honor Roll:
Olivia Ettore, Immaculata:
Ettorre delivered a standout performance in Immaculata’s 63-58 come-from-behind victory over Ursinus, leading all scorers with 19 points on an efficient 4–6 shooting from three-point range. She added three rebounds, one assist, and one steal.

Catie Kolwey, Marymount: Kolwey averaged 12.0 rebounds per game across the weekend at the Townebank Tip-Off, hosted by Virginia Wesleyan. In Marymount's win over Washington College on Sunday, Kolwey notched a double-double with 11 points and 15 rebounds, shooting 66% from the floor. 

Emily DuPont, Neumann: DuPont averaged 15 points and seven rebounds for Neumann. She also added seven steals and six blocks across the two games. Her strongest performance of the week came against Ursinus where she grabbed 10 boards, went 4-for-4 from the line and blocked four shots.

Anabela Jakelic, Pratt: Jakelic averaged 13 points, 12.3 rebounds, two blocks and 1.7 steals over a 1-2 stretch. The sophomore highlighted her week with a 20 point, 20 rebound, three block, three steal performance that powered a 57-36 win over York (N.Y.), the program’s first victory since 2023 and the first under head coach Carlos Acevedo. She also posted 10 points and eight rebounds, with two steals, against St. Joseph’s (L.I.), before adding nine points, nine rebounds and three blocks at St. Joseph’s (Brooklyn). 

Ahjionae Cobb, Saint Elizabeth: Cobb averaged 19 points on the week, tallying 57 points across three games. Against FDU-Florham, she went 3-for-4 from the arc, dishing out four assists and totaling 21 points. She then posted 24 points and had two assists against Wilkes before closing out the week with 12 points and six assists against Purchase
