Immaculata's Lentowski and Liberatoscioli Sweep Women's Basketball Weekly Awards

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Basketball weekly award winners on Monday, as Immaculata’s Abigail Lentowski and Tessa Liberatoscioli earned Player and Defensive Player of the week honors.  

Player of the Week:
Name: Abigail Lentowski
School: Immaculata
Class: Junior
Position: Forward
Hometown: Covington Township, Pa.
High School: Holy Cross
Brief Outlook of Week: Lentowski helped lead Immaculata to three wins this week, scoring 62 points, 30 rebounds, five blocked shots, and six steals. She registered a double-double scoring 17 points, with 15 rebounds, two blocked, and two steals in the Mighty Mac's come-from-behind victory over Alvernia after trailing by 17 at halftime. She had a season-high 26 points, nine rebounds, and one steal in the win over Keystone. She topped off her week with 19 points, six rebounds, three blocked shots, and three steals in the win over Albright.

Name: Tessa Liberatoscioli

Brief Outlook of Week: Liberatoscioli helped lead Immaculata to three consecutive wins this week with 16 rebounds including 14 defensive rebounds, two blocked shots, and eight steals to go along with 20 points and 15 assists. She had three defensive rebounds with four points and six assists in the team's come-from-behind win over Alvernia. She had three rebounds, one blocked shot, and three steals with six points and three assists in the team's win over Keystone. Liberatoscioli registered a double-double with 10 points, and 10 rebounds including nine defensive rebounds with one blocked shot, and five steals in the win over Albright .

Weekly Honor Roll:
Stephanie Klemick (Jr., Forward, Marywood): Klemick established a career high with 21 points in an 81-69 victory over Saint Elizabeth. Klemick was 8 of 12 from the field and shot .833 from the free-throw line. She complemented her performance by matching a season-best seven rebounds. Klemick surpassed her career high of 14 points in the first half alone, and she helped the Pacers deliver the Falcons just their third loss of the season.
