HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Basketball weekly award winners on Monday with Marywood’s Olivia Ciullo and Anyah Ortiz being named Player and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively.

Player of the Week: Olivia Ciullo
School: Marywood
Class: Graduate
Position: Forward
Hometown: Old Forge, Pa.
High School: Old Forge
Brief Outlook of Week: Ciullo used a 21-point effort to propel Marywood to a 73-63 victory over John Jay. Ciullo scored her 1,000th career point. She was a perfect 8 for 8 from the free-throw line and had a shooting line of 50 percent. Ciullo added seven rebounds.

Defensive Player of the Week: Anyah Ortiz
School: Marywood
Class: Guard
Position: Junior
Hometown: Reading, Pa.
High School: Governor Mifflin
Brief Outlook of Week: Ortiz had seven steals in a 73-63 victory over John Jay. The Keystone transfer hit a career-high in steals. She added 13 points offensively.
