LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Basketball weekly award winners on Monday, as Marymount’s Chandler Eddleton and Centenary Vatijah Davis earned Player and Defensive Player of the week honors.
Player of the Week:
Name: Chandler Eddleton
School: Marymount

Brief Outlook of Week: Eddleton continued to impress by averaging a whopping 31.5 points per game last week while shooting over 56 percent from the field and 81 percent from the free-throw line. In a win over Albright, she scored 27 points on 11-of-19 from the field with eight rebounds. In a narrow loss to nationally-ranked Mary Washington on Saturday, Eddleton scored 36 points on 12-of-22 from the field and 12-of-13 from the free-throw line. Her scoring output was the most for the Saints since 2011. She also added 12 rebounds to her stat line.
Defensive Player of the Week:
Name: Vatijah Davis
School: Centenary
Class: First Year
Position: Forward
Hometown: Poconos, Pa.
High School: Poconos Mountain West
Brief Outlook of Week: Davis lead the Cyclones defensively to a 2-1 week. The first year finished with nine steals, two blocks, and 12.33 rebounds per game. She finished with 50 points in the three game as well against Brooklyn, DeSales, and Pratt.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Sydney Kesselman (Gr., Forward, Gwynedd Mercy): Kesselman was a defensive force for the Griffins in the 1-2 week. The graduate student finished with three steals, seven blocks, and 16 rebounds across the three games.
Lauren Klieber (Jr., Guard, Neumann): Klieber averaged 21.3 points and 10.3 rebounds in a 2-1 week for Neumann. She went 15-for-16 from the line for the week. Klieber added six blocks and five steals. The junior scored a week-high 27 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in a 51-44 win at Eastern. Klieber followed with 16 points and seven boards in a 56-54 loss at Delaware Valley. To wrap-up the week, the junior scored 21 points and 13 rebounds while blocking four shots in a 52-45 win at York (Pa.).
Tessa Liberatosscioli (Sr., Guard, Immaculata) - Liberatoscioli scored 21 points, had six assists, seven rebounds, three blocked shots, and 11 steals in two games this week for the Mighty Macs. She had three rebounds, three blocked shots, and a career-high eight steals to go along with 18 points, and four assists against Arcadia. Had four rebounds, with three steals to go along with three points and two assists against No. 21 DeSales.
