LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women's Basketball weekly award winners on Monday, as Neumann’s Lauren Klieber and Gwynedd Mercy’s Sydney Kesselman earned Player and Defensive Player of the Week respectively.
Player of the Week:
Name: Lauren Klieber
School: Neumann

Brief Outlook of Week: Klieber averaged 22.7 points and 8.3 rebounds as Neumann opened the season 3-0. In two of the three games, the junior scored 27 points. In a 69-49 season opening win against Lancaster Bible, Klieber hit three three-pointers en route to 27 points while grabbing eight rebounds. Against Penn State Harrisburg, she scored 14 points and pulled down eight rebounds in a 75-51 win. To wrap up the week, the junior scored 27 points and notched nine rebounds in a 64-56 win over Lancaster Bible.
Defensive Player of the Week:
Name: Sydney Kesselman
School: Gwynedd Mercy

Position: Forward
Hometown: Philadelphia, Pa.
High School: Plymouth Whitemarsh
Brief Outlook of Week: Kesselman totaled 10 blocks in the Griffins' 3-0 opening week versus King's College (PA) (W, 61-56), Penn State Berks (W, 91-33), and Penn State Abington (W, 90-63). All 10 of her blocks came in the Gwynedd Mercy University Tip-Off Tournament with seven against Berks and three against Abington; she also scored nine points and grabbed nine rebounds in the latter.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Vatijah Davis (Fy., Centenary): Davis started her career at Centenary with a bang averaging 19.5 points per game and 11.5 rebounds per game in a 1-1 week for the Cyclones.
The first year had a double-double in her second career start with 31 points and 16 rebounds against Kings (PA).
Chandler Eddleton (Sr., Forward, Marymount) – Eddleton led the Saints by averaging 22.0 points and 3.0 steals per game last week. She shot 44.1 percent from the field and went 10-of-10 from the free-throw line. She helped the Saints to a dominant victory over Lynchburg with a 28-point performance before leading the Saints in scoring during a narrow loss to the reigning ODAC champion, Washington and Lee, on Saturday.
Tessa Liberatoscioli (Sr., Guard, Immaculata) - Liberatoscioli in two games had 15 rebounds including 11 defensive rebounds and eight steals. She had eight rebounds and four steals against Ursinus on November 8th. She registered nine rebounds, with seven defensive rebounds and four steals in Immaculata's 72-71 win over Moravian on Saturday, November 11th.
Terea Tourk (Hunt) (Gr., Forward, Neumann) -
Tourk averaged 10.0 points and 8.0 rebounds as Neumann opened the season 3-0. The 5th year also added nine blocks in three games. Her week high in points, 18, came in a 75-51 win over Penn State Harrisburg. In a 64-56 win against Lancaster Bible to wrap up the week, the fifth year blocked seven shots and grabbed nine rebounds.
