Marymount's Eddleton and Immaculata's Liberatoscioli Named Women's Basketball Players of the Week

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Basketball weekly award winners on Tuesday, as Marymount’s Chandler Eddleton and Immaculata's Tessa Liberatoscioli earned Player and Defensive Player of the week honors.  

Player of the Week:
Name: Chandler Eddleton
School: Marymount
Class: Senior
Position: Forward
Hometown: Richmond, Va.
High School: Collegiate School
Brief Outlook of Week: Eddleton had a very impressive three-game run to close out the year. In a 2-1 stretch, she averaged 21.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. She shot 52.4 percent from the field and 79.2 percent from the free-throw line. Her most impressive game came against No. 19 Catholic, when she scored 27 points and picked up a career-high eight steals. On the week, she averaged 3.7 steals per game.

Defensive Player of the Week:
Name: Tessa Liberatoscioli
School: Immaculata
Class: Senior
Position: Guard
Hometown: Malvern, Pa.
High School: Great Valley
Brief Outlook of Week: Liberatoscioli had nine rebounds, two blocked shots, and tied her career high for steals in a game with nine to go along with three assists and seven points, to help lead Immaculata to their fourth consecutive win on December 20th defeating Penn State Abington 72-65.

Weekly Honor Roll:
Vatijah Davis (Fy., Forward, Centenary): Davis scored 35 points with 25 rebounds across the 2-0 week for the Cyclones. The first year recorded her 8th consecutive double-double against Cairn on Saturday while also adding four blocks, three assists and a steal in the two game week.  

Alli Griscavage (Fy., Center, Marywood): Griscavage posted a double-double in a win over Rosemont. Griscavage has season highs of 24 points and 13 rebounds. She shot 11 of 13 (84.6%) from the field for the Pacers' third-straight win.

Lauren Klieber (Jr., Guard, Neumann): Klieber averaged 17.5 points and 7.5 rebounds as Neumann went 1-1 in the Steel Classic at Moravian. The junior had 12 points and eight rebounds in a 52-43 loss to host Moravian. Klieber followed with 23 points and six boards in a 71-61 win over Salisbury in the consolation game.

Reese Mullins (Jr., Guard/Forward, Immaculata): Mullins scored 19 points with eight rebounds, three assists, and one steal to help lead Immaculata to their fourth consecutive win defeating Penn State Abington (72-65). Mullins shot 2-for-3 from behind the arc, and scored eight points in the fourth quarter.
