HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Baseball weekly award winners on Monday, with Centenary's Brannon McBride being named Player of the Week and Joseph Frei being named Pitcher of the Week.

Player of the Week: Joseph Frei
School: Centenary
Class: Junior
Position: Outfielder
Hometown: Hawthorne, N.J.
High School: Hawthorne High 
Brief Outlook of Week: Frei went 15-for-22 (.682) at the plate with seven runs scored, five runs batted in, and two doubles. Frei was perfect in the field with 0 errors. 

Pitcher of the Week: Brannon McBride
School: Centenary
Class: Freshman
Position: Pitcher
Hometown: Brick, N.J.
Brief Outlook of Week: McBride threw a complete game against Immaculata, only allowing 3 hits, 1 run (0 ER) while striking out 2 and walking 2 to help Centenary clinch a spot in the postseason. 

Weekly Honor Roll:
Isaac Galarza, Marywood: Galarza pitched a seven-inning complete game shutout in a must-win game against Neumann. He allowed four hits without any walks during a 4-0 victory. Galarza struck out two and held opponents to a .167 batting average.?

Rey Carrier, Neumann: Carrier tallied two saves for Neumann’s two wins this week in three appearances, not allowing a run. Overall, he pitched 3.2 innings and allowed two hits. In a 9-7 win over Keystone, he went 0.2 innings for the save. He followed with his fifth save of the season in an 8-5 win over Marywood where Carrier picked up a four out save. 

Trevor Policastro, Saint Elizabeth: Policastro started all six games this week for Saint Elizabeth, driving in six RBI's, one home run, walked five times, a double, and scored a run. He had a .412 batting average and .647 slugging percentage.
