HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Baseball weekly award winners on Monday, with JT Luther of Immaculata being named Player of the Week and Marywood’s Danny Tiedemann being named Pitcher of the Week.

Brief Outlook of Week: Luther had a standout week at the plate, hitting an impressive .667 (10-for-15) with eight runs scored, two doubles, and six RBIs across four games, helping lead Immaculata to three victories. He opened the stretch by going 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBIs in a win at Stockton on Tuesday. On Friday, he added a 1-for-3 performance with two RBIs in a victory over Neumann. Luther continued his hot streak in Saturday’s doubleheader at Neumann, going 3-for-4 with three runs scored in game one, followed by a 2-for-4 effort with an RBI in game two.
Pitcher of the Week: Danny Tiedemann

Hometown: Manorville, N.Y.
High School: Eastport South Manor
Brief Outlook of Week: Tiedemann allowed just three hits in 11 scoreless innings over two quality starts. He went 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA, holding opposing hitters to a .088 batting average. Tiedemann struck out seven and walked three. The Manorville, N.Y. senior began the week with a complete game shutout over Saint Elizabeth, limiting the Eagles to three hits with five strikeouts on just 77 pitches. Three days later, Tiedemann threw four shutout innings to pave the way for Marywood's 6-0 victory against Gwynedd Mercy.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Landon Glovas, Gwynedd Mercy: Glovas went 1-1 this week and logged 14.1 innings pitched. He earned the win (2-0) in a 10-2, game-three win at Centenary by holding the Cyclones to one earned run on four hits and two walks.. Glovas also took a loss (2-1) in a 4-0 game-three loss against Marywood, holding the Pacers to two runs on seven hits and four walks. He recorded eight strikeouts on the week.
Alex LePage, Immaculata: LePage delivered a dominant performance in a seven-inning, complete game, victory over Neumann in Conference action on Friday. He allowed just four hits and one earned run while striking out six. LePage was highly effective at keeping hitters off balance, inducing nine ground-ball outs.
Ben Smallwood, Marymount: Smallwood continued his impressive streak of starts, tossing his third-straight complete game and collecting the win again. Going 9.0 innings on the mound, Smallwood allowed just one earned run while striking out three. He lowered his ERA on the season to 1.50.
Francis Swekosky, Marymount: Junior outfielder Francis Swekosky batted .600 for Marymount across four games last week, slugging 1.133. Knocking two home runs and a triple, Swekosky drove in six total RBI;s, scoring five runs himself. He also stole one base and fielded perfectly.
Joel Ayers, Marywood: Ayers led Marywood to a 4-1 week with a .438 batting average, .625 on-base percentage and .750 slugging percentage. Across five starts, he was 7 for 16 with seven runs, three extra-base hits and four RBIs. He started the week by reaching base three times in a 10-0 win over Saint Elizabeth. Ayers went 2 for 5 with a double in a win over Cairn. In the Pacers' only blemish of the week, Ayers batted 3 for 4 with three runs, a double, and a home run against Gwynedd Mercy. One day later versus the Griffins, Ayers drove in an RBI in each game of Marywood's first-ever shutout sweep — a doubleheader that was a scoreless affair until the final inning in each game.
