HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Softball weekly award winners on Monday, as Marymount’s Kaylee Atkins was named Player of the Week and Neumann’s Marina Costello was named Pitcher of the Week.

Player of the Week: Kaylee Atkins
School: Marymount
Class: Senior
Position: First base
Hometown: Chesapeake, Va.
High School: Western Branch.
Brief Outlook of Week: Senior first baseman Kaylee Atkins had a batting average of .762  across 21 at-bats last week. Knocking six doubles, Atkins had a slugging percentage of 1.048, while getting on base at a .738 clip. She drove in five RBI’s and scored eight runs for the Saints. 

Pitcher of the Week: Marina Costello
School: Neumann
Class: Graduate
Position: Pitcher/Utility
Hometown: Swedesboro, N.J.
High School: Kingsway
Brief Outlook of Week: Costello pitched a complete game in the circle to help the Knights clinch the No. 2 seed in the postseason with a 9-2 win over Saint Elizabeth to complete the sweep. Over 7.0 innings, she allowed two unearned runs on six hits and struck out six and did not walk a batter. She also hit .750 (6-for-8), with two doubles, five RBI’s and scored three runs. In the game that she also pitched, Costello knocked in four runs.

Weekly Honor Roll:
Hannah Cohen, Gwynedd Mercy: Cohen was 6-for-7 with a run and 2 runs-batted-in in a doubleheader versus Penn State Abington. She homered in the first game and plated a run in game two with a first-inning single.

Amber Little, Marywood: Little had seven RBIs in the Pacers' doubleheader against Penn State Schuylkill. In Marywood's only games of the week, she went 5-for-7 for a .714 batting average. Three of her five hits were extra bases with two doubles and a home run. 

Brianna Voyer, Marywood: Voyer won her fourth consecutive game with a five-inning complete game performance at Penn State Schuylkill. She finished with a 1.40 ERA, allowing four hits and zero walks. Voyer struck out two.
