HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Softball weekly award winners on Monday, as Saint Elizabeth’s Isabella Hanos was named Player of the Week and Marymount’s Bailey Demusz was named Pitcher of the Week.
Player of the Week: Isabella Hanos
School: Saint Elizabeth

Position: Outfielder
Hometown: Monroe, N.J.
High School: Monroe
Brief Outlook of Week: Hanos was a force on the Diamond for the Eagles, going 10 for 13 (.769), ripping two doubles and a triple. Hanos drove in seven RBIs for the Eagles, as well as scored five runs herself. Hanos also stole two bases for the Eagles as well. She posted a 1.077 SLG% and a .786 OB%.
Pitcher of the Week: Bailey Demusz
School: Marymount
Class: Senior
Position: Pitcher
Hometown: Doylestown, Pa.
High School: Central Bucks West
Brief Outlook of Week: Demusz went 2-1 across the week for the Saints in 14.2 innings pitched, earning the wins in both games against Gwynedd Mercy on Saturday. Pitching to a 2.39 ERA, the senior racked up 25 total strikeouts, allowing just eight hits.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Hannah Cohen, Gwynedd Mercy: Cohen was 4-for-10 this week, slugging .800, including a 3-for-4, 3 RBI performance in the Griffins' second game against Marymount.
Haley Greer, Marymount: Greer racked up five RBI’s against the Griffins on Saturday, leading to the double header sweep for the Saints. Batting .500 while slugging .833, Greer knocked a pair of doubles across the day, scoring three runs and recording three hits.
Arianna Shellman, Marywood: Shellman's first career collegiate hit came as an inside-the-park grand slam in a 13-9 win over Elmira. Shellman was a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two extra base hits, and four RBIs. Trailing by four in the first inning, she rallied the Pacers to a win with a home run to clear the bases and give Marywood the lead. She added a double later in the game.
Ellie Zarnawski, Neumann: Zarnawski hit .500 (5-for-10) with three doubles, four RBI and four runs scored over four games. In the conference openers against Immaculata, the first year went 5-for-6 and scored the tying run in the bottom of the seventh of game two as Neumann walked-off a 7-6 win.
Kami Degaetani, Saint Elizabeth: DeGaetani tossed a complete game shutout for the Eagles on Saturday against NJCU. Finishing the game surrendering only 4 hits on the day and striking out one.
