LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Baseball Players of the Week for the week ending, May 7
th. Cabrini’s Dustin Sutton and Immaculata’s Jason Hughes were named Player and Pitcher of the Week awards respectively.

Name: Dustin Sutton
School: Cabrini

Brief Outlook of Week: Sutton went 2-for-5 with 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored in the third game of Cabrini's series against Marymount on May 1 Sutton went 5-for-6 with 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored against Gwynedd on May 5 as he hit for the third cycle in program history Added a hit and an RBI in the first game of the doubleheader on May 6 against Gwynedd In the four games on the week, Sutton went 8-for-17 with a double, a triple, and a homer, 7 RBIs and 7 runs scored for a .470 / .764 / .917 slash line

Name: Jason Hughes
School: Immaculata
Class: Junior
Position: Pitcher
Hometown: Warminster, Pa.
High School: William Tennent
Brief Outlook of Week: Earned the win in the first game of the doubleheader vs Marymount on May 6th, throwing a pre-determined three and two-thirds allowing no hits, no runs, walking one, and striking out six. Pitched one inning of scoreless relief against Arcadia on May 2nd earning a save, allowing no hits, no runs, and striking out one.
Weekly Honor Roll
Vinny D’auria, (Gr., Outfielder Marywood) - D'Auria batted .455 with a 1.026 OPS and five runs to lead the Pacers to a 2-1 week. In a win over Neumann, the graduate student left fielder went 3 for 5 with four runs. He went 1 for 4 with two RBIs and a run in a victory over Clarks Summit to close out the season. D'Auria completed his career with an 18-game on-base streak
Nick Glebocki, (So., Infielder, Neumann) - Glebocki hit .556 (10-for-18) in a 3-2 week for Neumann to wrap up the regular season. In the lead-off position, he scored seven runs, knocked in three, walked five times and hit three doubles. He did not strikeout in the five contests.
Cooper Root, (So., DH/Pitcher, Gwynedd Mercy) - Cooper Root was stellar on the mount to earn his fourth win of the season. He held Cabrini to two runs on six hits and two walk, while striking out two in seven innings. In four games at the plate he was 6-for-17 (.353) with two walks, three runs, and three RBI.
