LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Baseball Players of the Week for all games through Sunday, February 26th. Immaculata’s Josh Crowding was named Player of the Week; while David Muirhead of Marymount earned Pitcher of the Week honors.

Brief Outlook of Week: Crowding went 2-for3 with two RBI’s, one run scored, two HBP. He batted .667 in the one game week for the Mighty Macs. Defensively he threw out two runners attempting to steal.

Name: David Muirhead
School: Marymount
Class: Sophomore
Position: Pitcher
Hometown: Manassas, Va.
High School: Osbourn
Brief Outlook of Week: Muirhead has started the season with two straight wins on the mount for the Saints. On Friday against DeSales he went 7.2 innings, with 12 strikeouts, while allowing just one hit and one walk. The sophomore started the season with 6.2 innings pitched against Stevenson, with four strikeouts, one walk and one hit. This season he has allowed two hits and has a 0.00 ERA through 14.1 innings of action.
Weekly Honor Roll
Stephen DiBatista (Sr., Pitcher, Immaculata): DiBatista pitched three scoreless innings against No. 19 Ithaca college. He allowed no hits and recorded one strikeout in his first appearance of the season.
Craig Sodano (Jr., Outfielder, Marymount): Sodano has played five games this season, with a breakout weekend this past weekend. The junior went 3-of8, knocking a solo homerun on Friday to help move the momentum to the Saints. He had an RBI hit later in the same game.
