Cabrini's Narciso and Immaculata's Andrada Tabbed Baseball Players of the Week

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Baseball Players of the Week for the week ending, March 26th. Colton Narciso of Cabrini was named Player of the Week; while Derek Andrada of Immaculata earned Pitcher of the Week honors.

Player of the Week:

Brief Outlook of Week: Narciso went 1-for-4 with a double and three RBI’s against Cairn on Tuesday, March 21. He then went 1-for 2 with a walk-off RBI-single against Neumann in the first Atlantic East game of the season. After game one’s walk-off with a 4-for-5 day with two homers, two singles, and six RBIs with two stolen bases. On the week, Narciso 6 hits, including two homers, and 10 RBIs. He is now tied for the team lead in home runs with five.

Brief Outlook of Week: Andrada pitched seven and one-thirds inning allowing one hit and zero runs and had and had two strikeouts in Immaculata’s 6-0 win over Rutgers-Camden on March 23rd.

Weekly Honor Roll

Josh Crowding (Sr., Catcher, Immaculata): Crowding was a combined 5-for-7 (.714 average); with three runs scored, three doubles, one home run, and five RBI’s helping lead Immaculata a pair of wins. Went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, two doubles and one RBI vs. Lebanon Valley on March 21st, and went 2-for-3 with one run scored, a double, a homme run and four RBI’s vs. Rutgers-Camden on March 23rd.  

Joseph Kramp (So., Catcher, Marymount):
Sophomore catcher, Joseph Kramp, broke out in a big way last week for the Saints. Starting off with a two-home run performance against Catholic on Wednesday, driving in two runs, the Fairfax, Va. Native followed it up with his third home run in two games in Marymount’s AEX opening win over Gwynedd Mercy on Saturday evening. Over the week he batted .417 with five RBIs.

David Muirhead (So., Pitcher, Marymount): Muirheaads first conference start of the season proved to be a significant one, as the sophomore righty put up 7.0 innings to give the saints their first conference win of the season. Striking out seven and allowing no earned runs, one unearned run, the Manassas, Va. Native lowered his season ERA to 2.68. He allowed just five hits in the start while issuing two walks.  

Pat Toal (Jr., P, Cabrini):
Toal threw a 7-inning complete game against Neumann on March 26th. He allowed nine hits but only one run and punched out eight with just one walk. Toal earned his fourth win of the year to improve to 4-2.

Louie Vassallo (Fr., Pitcher, Centenary): In 3.1 innings of work the conference matchup against Marywood, Vassallo allowed zero hits and zero runs. This is Vaassallo’s fourth consecutive appearance not allowing a run.
