LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women's Volleyball weekly award winners on Monday, as Neumann’s Regan Hickey and Gwynedd Mercy’s Ayanna Gaston earned Player and Specialist of the Week respectively.

Player of the Week:
Name: Regan Hickey
School: Neumann
Class: Senior
Position: Hitter
Hometown: Ashton, Pa.
High School: Cardinal O'Hara
Brief Outlook of Week: Hickey tallied 32 kills and 12 digs in a 1-2 overall week, 1-0 in conference action. In a 3-0 win at Centenary, the senior notched 19 kills, including the 1,000th kill of her career.

Specialist of the Week:
Name: Ayanna Gaston
School: Gwynedd Mercy
Class: Sophomore
Position: Setter
Hometown: Middletown, Del.
High School: Middletown
Brief Outlook of Week: Gaston surpassed 1,000 career assists with a big non-conference week versus Alvernia University, King's College (PA), and Ursinus College. She totaled  seven kills, 106 assists, seven aces, 17 digs, a solo block, and four block assists. She recorded a season-high 51 assists while reaching her milestone in a 3-1 win over the Monarchs and scored three aces versus both the Golden Wolves and Bears.

Weekly Honor Roll:
Ashley Brown (Sr., Middle Hitter, Gwynedd Mercy): Brown scored 27 kills on a .339 (27K-6E-62TA) hitting percentage to help the Griffins to a 1-2 week versus Alvernia, King's (PA), and Ursinus. She finished the week with 32 points thanks to an ace and 4.0 (3 solo, 2 assisted) blocks. On Senior Night win over the Golden Wolves she scored 11.5 points with nine kills, a pair of solo blocks, and a block assist. Later in the week, she started the tri-match with 12.5 points versus the Monarchs; 11 kills, an ace, and a block assist. She also made six digs.

Kaitlyn Doyle (Gr., Outside Hitter, Marywood) - Over the 2 matches this past week, Doyle totaled 29 kills and 21 digs. In their match against Immaculata, Doyle had a hitting percentage of .259, acquiring 13 total points for the match. Doyle had a great season, steadily maintaining the lead offensively for her team while also making large contributions defensively as well.

Alexis Franklin (Gr., Setter, Marymount) - In their match against Messiah this week, Franklin acquired 2 kills for a .400 hitting percentage along with 44 assists, 4 service aces, and 17 digs. Franklin is a huge asset to the team both offensively and defensively and has been for the entirety of the season and this was evident within this match.

Casey Hagerstrom (Sr., Middle Hitter, Marywood) - Hagerstrom led Marywood to a split at the Vassar tri-match with 18 kills, one attack error, nine digs and four block assists. Against Sage, she tallied 15 kills with an errorless .500 attack percentage in a wild 3-1 win that featured two sets go into extra points. Hagerstrom added seven digs and four block assists, including set-tying and -winning points to even the match score.
