Chestnut Hill's Croteau and Dandy Awarded Women's Flag Football Weekly Honors

HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Flag Football weekly award winners on Monday as Chestnut Hill’s Raquelle Dany was named Player of the Week and Caroline Croteau was named Defensive Player of the Week.

Player of the Week: Raquelle Dandy
School: Chestnut Hill
Class: Sophomore
Position: Quarterback
Hometown: Philadelphia, Pa.
High School: Northeast
Brief Outlook of Week: Raquelle had an all around effort both offensively and defensively last week.  In the Griffins four games she scored four touchdowns on offense (+ 2 on defense) while passing for an additional five touchdowns. She gained 195 yards on the ground with three touchdowns, completed 18 passes for 245 yards and five touchdowns, and had 11 catches for 113 yards and one touchdown.  She also returned two interceptions for touchdowns, giving her six total touchdowns scored (36 points) for the week.

Defensive Player of the Week: Caroline Croteau
School: Chestnut Hill
Class: Junior
Position: Safety
Hometown: Tardley, Pa.
High School: Pennsbury
Brief Outlook of the Week: Caroline recorded five interceptions in the Griffins'' four games last week (2-2), running two back for touchdowns against Marywood.  She also had three interceptions vs. Neumann.  She had eight tackles vs. Immaculata and nine vs Neumann and finished the week with 20 in four games.


Weekly Honor Roll:
Aalyce Davis, Holy Family: Davis threw for six touchdowns and rushed for another, totaling 433 offensive yards as HFU defeated Centenary and Marywood on Saturday. 

Alexis Tina McLeod, Holy Family: McLeod had nine tackles and two interceptions as HFU defeated Centenary and Marywood on Saturday. 

Jaclyn Molinini, Immaculata: Molinini turned in a dynamic, all-around performance to help Immaculata sweep its AEC tri-match on Saturday, contributing in all phases of the game. She finished with nine total tackles and two interceptions, one of which she returned for a touchdown.

Eliana Szatkowski, Immaculata: Szatkowski totaled an 18-yard rushing touchdown, five receptions for 60 yards—including a touchdown—and recorded three interceptions defensively. In the win over Chestnut Hill, Szatkowski scored on an 18-yard run and added a 22-yard touchdown reception. She continued to shine against Neumann, hauling in a 16-yard reception while coming up with three interceptions on the defensive side.

Kaylah Barr, Marymount: Barr put up 136 receiving yards on seven catches this past Saturday, scoring three touchdowns. The sophomore added 25 yards on the ground, with a long run of 23 yards.
