HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Flag Football weekly award winners on Monday as Eastern’s Kira Green was named Player of the Week and Immaculata’s Frankie Brunkel was named Defensive Player of the Week.

High School: Penn Manor
Brief Outlook of Week: Green threw for 496 yards and 12 touchdowns in Eastern's season-opening wins over Chestnut Hill and Centenary. She completed 28-of-44 passes.
Defensive Player of the Week: Frankie Brunkel
School: Immaculata
Class: Freshman
Position: Linebacker, Running Back
Hometown: Philadelphia, Pa.
High School: Archbishop Ryan
Brief Outlook of Week: Brunkel turned in a dominant defensive performance in her collegiate debut, recording 14 solo tackles, a pass deflection, and an interception while helping lead Immaculata to a pair of Atlantic East Conference victories in Saturday’s AEC tri-match. She led the defensive effort in the Mighty Macs’ 12–6 win over Marymount, finishing with nine solo tackles and a key interception before following that performance with five additional solo tackles and a pass deflection in Immaculata’s 38–0 win over Holy Family.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Caliyah Brown, Chestnut Hill: Brown had seven tackles, including five sacks, in the Griffins 24-18 OT win over Centenary on Saturday. For the two games, she finished with eight solo tackles and one assisted tackle, for nine total, and five sacks totaling 18 yards in losses.
Caroline Croteau, Chestnut Hill: Croteau scored the first touchdown in program history in a 24-18 OT win over Centenary. In that game, she ran for 61 yards on eight carries while completing 10 of 24 passes for 71 yards. Across the two games, Croteau had 158 yards of total offense and also had 163 all-purpose yards, with one touchdown and three interceptions on defense.
Devan Cosgrove, Immaculata: Across the two games, Cosgrove completed 15 of 24 passes for 210 yards and five touchdowns with no interceptions. She also added 26 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns on the ground. Cosgrove contributed on special teams as well, punting five times for a 21.5-yard average with two punts pinned inside the 20-yard line.
Kaylah Barr, Marymount: Barr collected 11 total tackles in Marymount's tri-game at Immaculata on Saturday. The sophomore also added two broken up passes.
Cara Vollmer, Marymount: Vollmer started off the season on a hot note, passing for 306 total yards with a pair of touchdowns, notching a completion rate of 61%. On the ground, the junior added 77 yards on 17 carries. She averaged 153 yards in the air, with 38.5 on the ground, across the opening weekend.
Sam Knight, Neumann: Knight had 10 tackles and two interceptions as Neumann opened its season with two wins.
Ava Valente, Neumann: Valente completed 41 of 60 passes, a 68.3% completion mark, for 485 yards and 11 touchdown passes as Neumann opened Atlantic East Conference action with two wins. She also ran for 172 yards.
Molly Shellpeper, Eastern: Shelpeper had four interceptions, two tackles, and a pair of pass breakups in Eastern's dominating opening weekend wins over Centenary and Chestnut Hill.
