Leslie Villegas, effectively stifled Eastern's advance. Marymount seized their opportunity when

Alexandria Veltri for a 39-yard touchdown pass at the 8:17 mark, putting the Saints ahead. Despite a missed pass attempt for the extra point, Marymount maintained a 6-0 lead at the end of the quarter.
Marymount's
Cara Vollmer intercepted a pass from Eastern's Indigo Pitts at the Eastern 28-yard line early in the second quarter, returning it 15 yards to the Marymount 37. Despite this momentum shift, the Saints struggled to capitalize, as their subsequent drive resulted in a series of losses culminating in a turnover on downs. Marymount's defense was effective in containing Eastern, with
Jesenia Velez recording a crucial QB flag pull for a loss on Kira Green, halting Eastern's progress late in the quarter. The quarter concluded without any scoring, maintaining a scoreless tie.
Marymount seized momentum in the third quarter when
Jesenia Velez rushed for a 2-yard touchdown at 9:22, extending its lead over Eastern. Despite
Cara Vollmer's missed pass attempt for the extra point, the Saints maintained competitive pressure. Eastern responded with a drive culminating in a 12-yard touchdown pass by Kira Green, followed by a successful extra point, tying the score. The quarter ended with the score level at 12-12.
Marymount began the fourth quarter with the ball on its 14-yard line, but an early illegal block penalty pushed it back significantly. Despite
Cara Vollmer's efforts, including a short pass completion to
Kaylah Barr, the team was forced to punt, allowing Eastern to take over at Marymount's 39-yard line.
Marymount's defense responded effectively, highlighted by
Micaiah Pride flagging Kira Green for a 2-yard loss. Later,
Cara Vollmer connected with
Samayah Barnes for a 13-yard gain, but subsequent plays resulted in minimal yardage, stalling the offensive drive.
The final moments saw Marymount maintaining possession, with Eastern calling timeouts to stop the clock, but the score remained unchanged. The game concluded with Marymount securing a 12-6 victory.
