HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Flag Football weekly award winners on Monday as Holy Family’s Aalyce Davis was named Player of the Week and Marywood’s Miranda Taveras was named Defensive Player of the Week.

Position: Quarterback
Hometown: Philadelphia, Pa.

Brief Outlook of Week: Davis accounted for nine offensive touchdowns – five rushing, two receiving and two passing – as HFU defeated Marywood and Centenary on Sunday. She totaled 280 scrimmage yards and threw for 57 more. The junior first had six touchdowns in the win over the Pacers, throwing for two, rushing for two and catching two. She recorded 181 yards from scrimmage and completed all three of her pass attempts for 55 yards. Davis then rushed for 80 yards and three scores in the victory over the Cyclones.
Defensive Player of the Week: Miranda Taveras
School: Marywood

Hometown: Roselle Park, N.J.
High School: Roselle Park
Brief Outlook of Week: Taveras scored Marywood's first career points with a defensive extra point, intercepting a pass and taking it all of the way for two points in the Pacers' 32-22 loss to Centenary. Later, she had a pick-six when she batted a ball and returned it 16 yards. Taveras finished with seven tackles and two sacks in a pair of losses.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Kaitlyn Cannon, Holy Family: Cannon had nine flag pulls, one sack, one tackle for loss and a pass breakup as HFU defeated Marywood and Centenary on Sunday. She first led all players with a season-high seven flag pulls in the victory over the Pacers, before recording two more, along with a sack, tackle for loss and pass breakup, in the win over the Cyclones.
Eliana Szatkowski, Immaculata: Szatkowski had a combined three tackles, two interceptions, and four pass breakups over two Atlantic East Conference games for Immaculata. She had two tackles, two interceptions, and three pass breakups in the win over Chestnut Hill on Friday.
Jaclyn Molinini, Immaculata: Molinini delivered a dominant all-around performance in back-to-back wins over Chestnut Hill and Neumann, impacting the game in every phase. She was perfect through the air, going a combined 5-for-5 for 60 yards and two touchdowns, while adding 12 carries for 62 yards and a rushing score. As a receiver, she totaled five catches for 97 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, Molinini was just as electric, recording six tackles, a pass breakup, and two interceptions—one was a pick-six return for a touchdown against Chestnut Hill.
Jesenia Velez, Marymount: Velez was dominant on the offensive front for the Saints, leading to a pair of AEC wins on Sunday. Dominating four different ways: running, passing, catching, and punt return, Velez racked up 101 rushing yards, 87 receiving yards, and 42 passing yards with a 77.8% completion. She ended the day with a punt return TD and a passing TD.
Leslie Villegas, Marymount: Villegas notched eight total flag pulls in Marymount's tri-game sweep over AEC foes PSU Schuylkill and Eastern.
