HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Flag Football weekly award winners on Monday as Immaculata's Devan Cosgrove was named Player of the Week and Theresa Jappah was named Defensive Player of the Week.

School: Immaculata

Brief Outlook of Week: Cosgrove led Immaculata to a 3–0 record in Atlantic East Conference play, completing 34-of-53 passes (64.2%) for 373 yards and 13 touchdowns. She also contributed on the ground with 32 rushing yards on 10 carries. Against Centenary, she went 12-of-16 for 135 yards and six touchdown passes. She also recorded 183 passing yards and four touchdowns in a victory over Penn State Schuylkill, and added three more touchdown passes in a second win against Penn State Schuylkill.
Defensive Player of the Week: Theresa Jappah

Brief Outlook of the Week: Jappah was a game-changing force on defense, leading Immaculata to a 3–0 week in Atlantic East Conference play with a series of dominant performances. Across the three victories, Jappah recorded 18 solo tackles, multiple pass breakups, and three interceptions, two of which she returned for touchdowns. In a key win over Centenary, Jappah delivered 10 solo tackles, two pass breakups, and two interceptions, including a 75-yard pick-six interception return for a touchdown. She also made a strong impact against Penn State Schuylkill earlier in the week, totaling five solo tackles and two pass breakups before capping the week in Thursday’s win at Penn State Schuylkill, recording three solo tackles and returning an interception 22 yards for a touchdown.
Weekly Honor Roll
Kylie Cooley, Holy Family: Cooley totaled 14 tackles in Thursday’s tri-match with Eastern and Neumann.
Aalyce Davis, Holy Family: Davis accounted for 218 yards of total offense – 128 rushing and 90 passing – and two TDs in Thursday’s tri-match with Eastern and Neumann.
Sakairah Sterling, Marymount: Sterling led the Saints' defense that put up back-to-back shutouts over AEC opponent Chestnut Hill on Thursday. The first-year nabbed two interceptions, alongside three flag pulls and three broken passes across the two games to stand out and keep defensive pressure on the visiting team.
Cara Vollmer, Marymount: Vollmer put up powerful numbers in Marymount's pair of dominating wins over Chestnut Hill on Thursday. Passing for eight total touchdowns and 189 total yards, the junior went 14-21 in the air without an interception. She averaged 94.5 passing yards per game. Adding onto her offensive dominance, she added a receiving touchdown and 51 yards on five carries.
Ava Valente, Neumann: Valente threw for 148 yards, three touchdowns and rushed for 232 yards with two touchdowns in a 1-1 week for Neumann. The first year rushed for Neumann’s lone score in a loss to Eastern. She followed with four touchdowns in a win over Holy Family.
