HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men’s Basketball weekly award winners on Monday, with Neumann's Donte Dupriest being named Player of the Week and D.J. Johnson of Gwynedd Mercy being named Defensive Player of the Week.
Player of the Week: Donte Dupriest
School: Neumann
Class: Senior
Position: Forward
Hometown: Philadelphia, Pa.

Brief Outlook of Week: Dupriest averaged 25.0 points and 11.5 rebounds in a 1-1 week for Neumann. In a 70-52 win over Pratt, the senior tallied a double-double with 23 points and 14 rebounds. He also added four assists, two steals and a block. In a close 75-74 overtime loss to Gwynedd Mercy, Dupriest scored 27 points, including the game-tying basket that sent the game into overtime. He added nine rebounds and three assists.
Defensive Player of the Week: D.J. Johnson
School: Gwynedd Mercy
Class: Senior
Position: Guard
Hometown: Norristown, Pa.
High School: Norristown
Brief Outlook of Week: Johnson totaled 18 points, 12 rebounds, eight assists, one block, and six steals in conference wins over Marymount and Neumann. He recorded 12 points, seven rebounds, four assists, one block, and one steal against the Saints, before finishing the week with six points, five rebounds, four assists, and five steals over the Knights.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Jasir Lane, Centenary: Lane helped the Cyclones go 2-0 on the week with 24 points, 27 rebounds, and three steals. In a win over Saint Elizabeth, the junior recorded two steals, two assists, 16 rebounds and 15 points, followed by a three assist, one steal, 11 rebound and nine point performance against Immaculata.
Kenneth Rankin, Centenary: Rankin totaled 58 points (averaging 29 per game), 18 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and a block in two wins this week. Rankin also surpassed 1000 career points in his 30-point performance in the win over Immaculata.
Dylan Crews, Immaculata: Crews delivered a strong all-around performance across Immaculata’s two games this week, totaling 39 points, nine rebounds, 10 assists, and three steals. He opened the week with 21 points, five rebounds, and six assists in Wednesday’s game at Marywood. Crews followed that up on Saturday with 18 points, four rebounds, four assists, and two steals against Centenary.
Shilo Bivins, Marywood: Bivins led Marywood to wins over Immaculata and Saint Elizabeth with 19.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. He had a double-double in a victory over Immaculata, posting 17 points and 11 boards. In a victory at Saint Elizabeth, he scored 22 points, going 17 for 27 from the field, posting a .630 shooting percentage.
Bryan Etienne, Neumann: Etienne averaged 14.0 points and 9.5 rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Knights. The senior tallied a double-double, 12 points and 11 rebounds, in a 70-52 win at Pratt. Etienne added six assists, three steals and a block in the road win. Against Gwynedd Mercy, the senior had 16 points and eight rebounds as the Knights fell 75-74 on a last second shot in overtime.
