HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men’s Basketball weekly award winners on Monday, with Pratt’s Trey Phillips being named Player of the Week and Marymount’s CJ Highsmith Jr. being named Defensive Player of the Week.

Player of the Week: Trey Phillips
School: Pratt
Class: Junior
Position: Forward
Hometown: Phoenix, Ariz.
High School: Brophy College Prep
Brief Outlook of Week: Phillips started the new year with a dominant performance, leading Pratt to a 90-60 victory over Elms College on Saturday. The junior  recorded his fourth double-double of the season, pacing the team with 19 points and 12 rebounds in 24 minutes of action. He was highly efficient, shooting 60 percent from the field. The forward was also a force on both ends of the court, adding two blocks and two steals as Pratt wrapped up non-conference play winners of six of their last seven.

Defensive Player of the Week: CJ Highsmith Jr.
School: Marymount
Class: Junior
Position: Center
Hometown: Richmond, Va.
High School: Richmond Christian
Brief Outlook of Week: Highsmith Jr. posted 17 points, alongside eight rebounds and a pair of blocks, in Marymount's 69-58 win over Bridgewater on Saturday. The Richmond, Va., native had no turnovers in the game, powering a Saint’s defense that only allowed 21 points in the second half, holding their opposition to nine field goals.

Weekly Honor Roll:
D.J. Johnson, Gwynedd Mercy: Johnson totaled five steals and a block in a 92-79 Consolation loss to host DeSales at the Al Senavitis Memorial Tournament. He also recorded 11 points, seven rebounds, and four assists in the contest. To open the tournament, Johnson recorded nine points, three rebounds,  and three assists in a 61-60 loss to McDaniel College. 

Dylan Crews, Immaculata: Crews finished with 18 points, on 7-for-11 shooting (64%), with six rebounds and five steals in Immaculata’s game at Delaware Valley on December 30.
