HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Lacrosse weekly award winners on Monday, with Neumann’s Alena Catka being named Player of the Week and Marymount’s Kaylee Heath being named Defensive Player of the Week.

School: Neumann
Class: Junior
Position: Attack
Hometown: Brookhaven, Pa.
High School: Sun Valley
Brief Outlook of Week: Catka scored six goals and added three assists for 10 points as Neumann wrapped up the regular season with an 18-4 win at Immaculata. The junior also had nine draw controls, six caused turnovers and five ground balls as the Knights went 5-0 in conference action to be the No. 1 seed in the postseason.

Brief Outlook of Week: Senior midfielder Kaylee Heath had a strong day across the field in Marymount's regular season finale win over Gwynedd Mercy. Causing three turnovers and picking up three ground balls, Kaylee added 10 draw controls. All the while, notching five points on three goals and two assists.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Mackenzie Morrissette, Marymount: Sophomore Mackenzie Morrissette finished the regular season with a nine-point outing against Gwynedd Mercy. The attack dished out five assists while sinking four goals for the Saints to lead to the decisive victory over the Griffins, adding a pair of ground balls.
Kaitlyn Smith, Marywood: Smith scored five goals and six assists for 11 points in the Pacers' 28-3 win over Centenary. She added nine draw controls and three ground balls. Smith tied the Marywood single-season record with 113 points.
