HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Lacrosse weekly award winners on Monday, with Marywood’s Avery Meighan being named Player of the Week and Gwynedd Mercy's Kira Bradley being named Defensive Player of the Week.
Player of the Week: Avery Meighan

Brief Outlook of Week: Meighan led the Pacers to an Atlantic East-opening win with an eight-goal performance against Immaculata. She scored eight goals for the third time in her career — all versus the Mighty Macs — in a 24-6 victory. Meighan added four caused turnovers, four draw controls and three ground balls.
Defensive Player of the Week: Kira Bradley

Brief Outlook of Week: Bradley had an incredible week as she powered the Griffins to a 16-4 AEC win over Centenary following Saturday's Senior Day ceremony. She recorded four goals on 10 shots and provided two assists while recording seven ground balls, nine caused turnovers, and nine draw controls. Earlier in the week, she recorded six points, two ground balls, two caused turnovers, and five draw controls in a loss at Alvernia
Weekly Honor Roll:
Elizabeth Mahmud, Immaculata: Mahmud delivered a well-rounded performance across two games for Immaculata, totaling five goals, 14 draw controls, five ground balls, and three caused turnovers.
Alexa Marczak, Immaculata: Marczak turned in a strong two-game performance for Immaculata, totaling five goals and one assist to go along with seven ground balls and a caused turnover.
Tess Valentino, Marymount: Valentino notched seven total points on six goals and one assist in Marymount's action last week. The senior added a caused turnover, a ground ball, and a draw control to her line.
Alena Catka, Neumann: Catka scored six goals, added one assist, caused three turnovers, and picked up 22 draw controls as Neumann went 1-1 overall and defeated Marymount for the first time to open conference action. In a loss to Stevenson, the junior scored three goals and added one assist. She followed with three goals and an assist as the Knights defeated the Saints 15-9. Catka picked up 11 draw controls in each game.
