HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Lacrosse weekly award winners on Monday, with Neumann’s Alena Catka being named Player of the Week and Maggie Miller being named Defensive Player of the Week.
Player of the Week: Alena Catka
School: Neumann

Hometown: Brookhaven, Pa.
High School: Sun Valley
Brief Outlook of Week: Catka scored 11 goals and seven assists for 18 points in a 1-2 week for the Knights. The junior added 26 draw controls, six ground balls and three caused turnovers. In a 17-3 win at Eastern, she had five goals and two assists. The Knights then traveled to DII Jefferson where Catka had a goal and an assist with 10 draw controls in the 18-8 loss. She finished with five goals, four assists and 11 draw controls in a close 16-15 setback to DeSales.
Defensive Player of the Week: Maggie Miller

Brief Outlook of Week: Miller caused 10 turnovers, grabbed 12 ground balls, five draw controls while adding six goals in three assists for the Knights. In a 17-3 win at Eastern, Miller caused six turnovers and grabbed six ground balls. She followed with three goals and an assist in a loss to DII Jefferson. In a close 16-15 loss to DeSales, Miller had three goals, four ground balls and two caused turnovers.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Trista Hough, Centenary: Hough had 11 points, with nine goals, six ground balls, and six draw controls to help lead the Cyclones to a 2-0 week.
Kylie Trilling, Centenary: Trilling helped lead the Cyclones to a 2-0 week, with 12 saves, for a .632 save percentage. The freshman also scooped up six ground balls.
Kira Bradley, Gwynedd Mercy: Bradley was the driving force in the Griffins' 17-7 win at King's College with eight goals, an assist, five ground balls, a caused turnover, and six draw controls. Later, she recorded a goal, two shots, three ground balls, four caused turnovers, and three draw controls in a loss to Lebanon Valley College.
Elizabeth Mahmud, Immaculata: Mahmud put together an outstanding two-game performance for Immaculata, totaling five ground balls, three caused turnovers, 12 draw controls, and six goals. She was especially dominant in Saturday’s win over Bryn Mawr, recording four ground balls, one caused turnover, nine draw controls, and scoring all six of her goals in the victory.
Julia Pohl, Immaculata: Pohl made an immediate impact in her first two collegiate lacrosse games for Immaculata, totaling seven points on four goals and three assists, adding two ground balls, one caused turnover, and three draw controls. She scored her first collegiate goal in her debut against Swarthmore on Wednesday, then followed it up with a standout performance on Saturday, recording three goals and three assists in a win over Bryn Mawr.
Avery Meighan, Marywood: Meighan led Marywood to a pair of victories with six goals and six assists for 12 points. She added 12 draw controls , eight ground balls and six caused turnovers to her all-around week. Meighan had a hand in five of the Pacers' eight goals in an upset victory over Lynchburg. She added six draws and three ground balls to give the Hornets just their second loss of the season. Meighan contributed a seven-point effort with four goals and three assists in a rout over Wilson. She broke the Marywood all-time points record (331) with her last goal in the win against Lynchburg.
