HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Lacrosse weekly award winners on Monday, swept by Marymount, as Mackenzie Morrissette was named Player of the Week and Ava Vautour was named Defensive Player of the Week.

Player of the Week: Mackenzie Morrissette
School: Marymount

Brief Outlook of Week: In the Saints' first full week of action, sophomore Mackenzie Morrissette made her presence known.Helping Marymount to two wins, the attack netted five goals and dished out eight assists for 13 total points. She scored twice and dished out first assists against Alvernia before recording a hattrick alongside four assists against Virginia Souther. The sophomore added a pair of caused turnovers to her line to give the Saints early season momentum.

Defensive Player of the Week: Ava Vautour
School: Marymount
Class: Sophomore
Position: Goalie
Hometown: Hamilton, Mass.
High School: Hamilton Wenham Regional
Brief Outlook of Week: Vautour earned a pair of wins in the net for Marymount to start off the year in an impressive way. Notching 11 saves across the week, the sophomore picked up her first career shutout in Saturday's win over Southern Virginia. She posted a save percentage of .733 on 22 shots faced.

Weekly Honor Roll:
Kira Bradley, Gwynedd Mercy: Gwynedd started their season on the road as they visited DeSales for a midweek contest. Bradley began her Griffin career with six points, from five goals,  and one assist, alongside three ground balls, five caused turnovers, and six draw controls.

Alena Catka, Neumann: Catka scored three goals, grabbed 10 draw controls, and scooped up three ground balls in a season-opening 11-9 loss at Stockton.
