LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Baseball weekly award winners on Monday, as Cabrini’s Dustin Sutton and Immaculata’s Jason Hughes earned Player and Pitcher of the Week honors respectively.

Player of the Week:
Name: Dustin Sutton
School: Cabrini

Brief Outlook of Week: Sutton had a big series against Marywood with three multi-hit games and two homeruns. The Cavaliers' leadoff hitter crossed the plate six times, drove in eight RBI's, grabbed six hits, drew six walks, and was 2-for-2 on stolen base attempts. Sutton slashed .667 / .750 / 1.333 on the week while recording eight putouts and two assists from center field.

Pitcher of the Week:
Name: Jason Hughes
School: Immaculata
Class: Senior
Position: Pitcher
Hometown: Warminster, Pa.
High School: William Tennent
Brief Outlook of Week: Hughes threw a seven-inning complete game two-hit shutout with 14 strikeouts in Immaculata's win in game one of their doubleheader with Gwynedd Mercy on April 20th.

Weekly Honor Roll:
Danny Tiedemann (So., Pitcher, Marywood): Tiedemann allowed just one hit and one runner in four innings of relief work through two games. He pitched a scoreless inning on seven pitches in a 14-10 win over King's. Tiedemann captured a three-inning save versus Cabrini. Entering with a 7-5 lead in the fifth inning, he yielded just one base hit for his first save. Tiedemann had a 0.00 ERA and 0.25 WHIP.

Joey Wright (Sr., First Base, Immaculata): Wright was a combined 8-for-16 (.500) with four runs scored, one triple, two home runs, and eight RBIs helping lead Immaculata to a 4-0 week. Wright went 1-for-4 in Immaculata's win over nationally ranked TCNJ on April 16. He helped lead the Mighty Macs to a three-game sweep of an Atlantic East Conference series vs Gwynedd Mercy going 1-for-4 with a triple and an RBI in the Macs win on April 19th. He went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs in the win in game one of the doubleheader and went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, a home run and four RBIs in the win in game two of the doubleheader on April 20th.
