LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Baseball weekly award winners on Monday, as Immaculata’s Joey Sacco and Marymount’s Parker Casselberry earn Player and Pitcher of the Week honors respectively.
Player of the Week:
Name: Joey Sacco
School: Immaculata

Brief Outlook of Week: Sacco hit a combined 7-for-12 (.583) with two runs scored, two doubles, and three RBIs in three games for Immaculata. He was 2-for-5 with a run scored, a double, and an RBI vs Lebanon Valley on March 19th. He was 1-for-3 with an RBI in Immaculata win in game one of their doubleheader, and was 4-for-4 with a run scored, a double, and an RBI in Immaculata's win in game two of the doubleheader of Marywood on March 22nd.

Name: Parker Casselberry
School: Marymount
Class: Junior
Position: Pitcher
Hometown: Jenks, Okla.
High School: Jenks
Brief Outlook of Week: Junior righty Parker Casselberry sealed the deal on the mound for the Saints in their three-game sweep of Neumann to open AEC play. Tossing 7.0 shutout innings, the Jenks, Okla. native struck out six on his way to the quality start. He allowed just five hits. He lowered his ERA to 2.74 on the year while sporting a 2-0 record.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Zack Brook (Gr., Outfielder, Cabrini): Brook had three big hits in a doubleheader split with Washington College. In the second matchup, Brook's 3-run triple brought Cabrini back into the game after trailing 6-0. He'd score on the inning as the Cavs would walk off the Shoremen 7-6 in the seventh. With 5 RBIs on the day, Brook recorded his 100th RBI in a Cabrini uniform.
Stephen DiBattista (Gr., Pitcher, Immaculata): DiBattista raised his record on the season to 4-0, throwing seven shutout innings, and striking out four in Immaculata's 5-0 win in game two of their doubleheader with Marywood on March 22nd.
Frank Ebling (Sr., Pitcher, Gwynedd Mercy): Ebling continues to dominate on the hill; he improved to 5-0 on the season by holding Centenary (NJ) to one run on eight hits. He struck out five Cyclones in the 3-1, Friday win. Ebling was also 4-for-11 at the plate with two runs and three RBI; he was 2-for-4 with a walk, a run, and three RBI versus Stockton and 2-for-4 with a run in the finale versus Centenary.
Cooper Root (Jr., Outfield/ Pitcher, Gwynedd Mercy): Root was 5-for-14 (.357) with three walks, four runs, and 3 RBI in a 2-2 week versus Stockton and AEC rival, Centenary (NJ). He was 2-for-4 with a walk and two runs in a 14-7 loss to Stockton, before going 3-10 in the AEC series with the Cyclones. He knocked in four runs versus Centenary and scored twice. Root pitched the finale against the Cyclones; he took the loss (2-3), but went the distance with a pair of strikeouts.
