LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Basketball weekly award winners on Monday, as Cabrini’s Zack Brook was named Player of the week while Cabrini’s Hunter Kaiza was named Pitcher of the week.

Brief Outlook of Week: Brook had a monster performance in Cabrini's 13-3 win over Cairn. The right-handed outfielder crossed the plate 3 times and had 3 extra base hits with a homerun and two doubles. Brook supplied another run, hit, RBI, and a stolen base against Rosemont on Sunday. He also recorded 3 putouts in left field in each of the Cavs' two games this week.
Defensive Player of the Week:
Name: Hunter Kraiza
School: Cabrini
Class: Junior
Position: Pitcher
Hometown: Ardmore, Pa.
High School: Haverford
Brief Outlook of Week: Kraiza took the hill for Cabrini on Friday Feb. 16 against Cairn, pitching three scoreless innings and earning the winning decision. He'd strike out three batters and force three groundouts while allowing just one hit and two walks in the process.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Dominick Chiego (So., Utility, Centenary): Chiego started the season with an incredible thee game series against Washington and Lee. The sophomore hit .429 on 6-for-14 batting. With a double and one RBI on the weekend.
Parker Casselberry (So., Utility, Marymount): Casselberry had a strong outing out of the pen in his first appearance of the season, going 3.0 innings with six strikeouts while allowing just one earned run.
