Cabrini Sweeps Men's Lacrosse Weekly Accolades

Lancaster, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men's Lacrosse weekly honors on Monday, as Cabrini University's Austin Bolton was named Offensive Player of the Week while Matt Nestler earned Defensive Player of the Week.

Brief Outlook of Week: Bolton recorded a career high 7 points to lead Cabrini to a 15-12 win at DeSales. The junior scored a career best 4 goals on 6 shots and handed out a career high 3 assists.


Defensive Player of the Week:

Brief Outlook of Week: Nestler recorded a career high 19 saves in leading the Cavaliers to a 15-12 win at DeSales. The netminder added a ground ball and a caused turnover to his stat line.

Weekly Honor Roll:
Gianluca Lockhart (Gwynedd Mercy/Sophomore/Mid): Lockhart totaled 8 points (6 goals, 2 assists), six ground balls, and five caused turnovers in the Griffins 1-1 week versus Bryn Atyn College (W, 15-5) and Moravian College (18-7). He recorded four points in both games, but added five ground balls and four caused turnovers to his two goals and two assists in the win over the Lions.

Trey Rorer (Immaculata/Junior/Mid): Junior midfielder Trey Rorer put in a strong week of work for the Macs. On Wednesday, Rorer went 13-22 (59.!%) on faceoff opportunities while also adding five ground balls and one forced turnover for the Macs. Then, on Saturday, Rorer led the Macs in their 15-8 victory over Mount Saint Vincent, going 17-for-25 (68.0%) on faceoffs while adding 10 ground balls and one turnover.
