Conlon, Ericson Named Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week

Lancaster, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men's Lacrosse weekly honors on Monday, as Neumann's Drew Conlon was named Offensive Player of the Week while Marywood University's Nick Ericson earned Defensive Player of the Week.

Brief Outlook of Week: Conlon led the Knights to a 1-1 week to bring the team’s overall record to 4-1 on the season. The senior attacker was a one-man wrecking crew in Saturday’s 16-3 win over King’s as he scored seven goals and added two assists for nine points. Conlon also picked up an assist in Wednesday’s 11-7 loss at Shenandoah.

Defensive Player of the Week:

Brief Outlook of Week: Ericson broke a pair of Marywood single-game records in a 22-2 win over College of Mount Saint Vincent. He won 26 of 28 faceoff attempts (92.8%) to break his own record set earlier this season. Ericson collected 20 ground balls. He also factored in with one goal.

Weekly Honor Roll:
Aiden Kilkenny (Marywood/Sophomore/Attack): Kilkenny broke the Marywood single-game goals record with nine scored in a 22-2 win over College of Mount Saint Vincent. He added one assist for 10 points. Kilkenny provided seven ground balls.
