Atlantic East Announces 2025 Men's Lacrosse All-Conference team

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference is proud to announce the 2025 Men’s Lacrosse All-Conference team. This team is made up of the six teams in the Atlantic East, as nominated and voted upon by the coaches. Coaches were not permitted to vote for their own players. 

Immaculata’s David Azzarano was named as the Player of the Year by the coaches, while Marymount’s Spencer Carfang and Immaculata’s Aiden Lawrence were named Co-Defensive Players of the Year. 

Ben Meighan from Marywood was named as the Rookie of the Year with the Coaching Staff of the Year going to Immaculata University. 

Finally, Gavin Taylorson from Marymount was awarded the Elite 20 for having the highest GPA at the championship site. 

Azzarano, a first-team selection attack selection, led the conference with 94 points (43g,51a) and averaged 4.95 points per game which was third best in the conference. His 51 assists were a conference best. 

Carfang and Lawrence, both first-team all-AEC selections, had outstanding seasons. Lawrence led the conference in caused turnovers with 34 while Carfang was second with 23. 

Meighan, a second-team All-AEC selection, had 31 points on the year with 22 goals and nine assists. 

Immaculata won the Atlantic East for the first time in school history and advanced to the NCAA Tournament with a win over Marymount. The Mighty Macs went a perfect 5-0 in league play and have a 14-5 record overall. 

Taylorson, a senior attack, is majoring in Information Technology.
