HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Basketball weekly award winners on Monday as Centenary’s Vatijah Davis was named Player of the Week and Marymount’s Katie Kolwey was named Defensive Player of the Week.
Player of the Week: Vatijah Davis
School: Centenary
Class: Junior
Position: Forward
Hometown: Poconos, Pa.
High School: Pocono Mountain West
Brief Outlook of Week: Davis tallied 52 points, 13 rebounds, and seven steals as the Cyclones went 2-0 on the week. She posted six rebounds, four assists, two steals and 22 points against Penn College. The junior then followed it up with a 30 point, seven rebound, five steal, three block, and one assist performance against Rutgers-Camden.
Defensive Player of the Week: Catie Kolwey
School: Marymount
Class: Junior
Position: Forward
Hometown: Hollywood, Md.
High School: Leonardtown
Brief Outlook of Week: Kolwey put up a double-double in Marymount's match up with Bridgewater on Friday, posting 10 points and pulling down 12 boards, 10 of which were defensive, to lead the charge for the Saints. The junior added four total blocks to her credit.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Alexa Osafo-Mensah, Centenary: She tallied up 8 rebounds and 7 points and 2 blocks in the win vs Penn college, while adding 8 points, 3 rebounds, a block and a steal in the win over Rutgers Newark.
Abby Grillo, Immaculata: Grillo recorded a strong, all-around performance for Immaculata, scoring 19 points while adding nine rebounds, two blocked shots, and four steals in Saturday’s contest at Haverford.
Emily DuPont, Neumann: DuPont averaged 13 points as Neumann closed out 2025 at the Scala Holiday Tournament at Montclair State. DuPont scored 13 points, went 4-for-4 from the line, while grabbing five rebounds and three steals, in a 66-49 loss to Franklin & Marshall. She followed with 13 points, six rebounds and five assists in a 76-62 loss to host Montclair State.
Elyssa Russo, Saint Elizabath: Russo was the main key for the Eagles this past week, leading the team with 19 points against Misericordia. She also picked up three steals, three rebounds, one block, and an assist. Russo was also able to go a perfect 5-5 from the free throw line, 2-4 from 3pt range, and 6-11 overall from the field.
