Marywood's Zeigler and Kalinich Sweep Men's Track Weekly Honors

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men's Track and Field weekly award winners on Monday as Marywood’s Noah Zeigler earned Track Athlete of the Week while teammate Will Kalinich claimed Field Athlete of the Week.

Men’s Track Athlete of the Week:
Name: Noah Zeigler
Class: Sophomore
School: Marywood
Hometown: Lake Ariel, Pa.
High School: Western Wayne
Brief Outlook of Week: Zeigler won the 100 dash at the King's College Monarch Open. Zeigler beat out the 25-man field with an 11.07-second finish. His season-best sprint moves to top of the Atlantic East performance list. Zeigler's 100 dash time ranks 14th in the region.

Men’s Field Athlete of the Week:
Name: Will Kalinich
Class: Sophomore
School: Marywood
Hometown: Scranton, Pa.
High School: Holy Cross
Brief Outlook of Week: Kalinich recorded two Top 5 performances at King's. He came in third place in the shot put with a distance of 39 feet, 3 inches (11.96m). Kalinich was fifth in the javelin with a mark of 156 feet, 10 inches (47.8m). Currently, he ranks first in the javelin and second in the conference.

Weekly Honor Roll:.
Branden Soubik (Jr., Gwynedd Mercy): Junior Soubik scored 14 of Gwynedd Mercy University's 17 points in a 10th-place (10th of 15) at Elizabethtown College's Blue Jay Tune Up with a first-place finish (1st, 51.14) in the 400-Meter and a fifth-place finish (5th, 23.03) in the 200-Meter.

Tyrin Hawkins (So., Immaculata):  Hawkins finished 7th in the shot put at the Blue Jay Tune-Up with a personal best throw of 11.52 meters or 37'9.50".
