Marywood's Baronski and Immaculata's Gibbons Earn Men's Track Weekly Honors

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men's Track and Field weekly award winners on Monday as Marywood’s Jack Baronski earned Track Athlete of the Week while Immaculata’s Brady Gibbons claimed Field Athlete of the Week.

Men’s Track Athlete of the Week:
Name: Jack Baronski
Class: Sophomore
School: Marywood
Hometown: Peckville, Pa..
High School: Valley View
Brief Outlook of Week:  Baronski finished in eighth place out of 72 runners in the 1500 at Widener. He finished with a time of 3:56.92, and he was the third-fasted Division III runner in the field. Baronski's time ranks second in Marywood history and first on the Atlantic East performance lists.

Men’s Field Athlete of the Week:
Name: Brady Gibbons
Class: Senior
School: Immaculata
Hometown: Toms River, N.J. .
High School: Toms River East
Brief Outlook of Week:  Gibbons competed at Widener Invitational and finished 25th with a throw of 11.35 meters.

Weekly Honor Roll:.
Brendan Soubik (Jr., Gwynedd Mercy): Soubik scored three personal records at the Widener Invitational with his performances in the 100-Meter (16th, 11.26), 200-Meter (8th, 22.27), and 400-Meter (20th, 50.63).

Ivan Zavala-Zavala (So., Immaculata): Zavala ran in the Widener Invitational and he finished seventh and shattered the Immaculata program record in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 34:58.75. The previous record was 39.48.16
