LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women's Basketball Players of the Week on Tuesday for games from December 19th to January 1st. Terra Dzambo of Marymount earned Player of the Week honors, while Marywood’s Olivia Ciullo was named Defensive Player of the Week.

Brief Outlook of Week: Dzambo dropped a career-high 35 points in a tough loss to Washington & Lee on December 29th. The junior sharpshooter went 6-of-12 from beyond the arc and 7-of-8 from the free-throw line. She also added nine rebounds.
Defensive Player of the Week:

School: Marywood
Class: Sophomore
Position: Guard
Hometown: Old Forge, Pa.
High School: Old Forge
Brief Outlook of Week: Cuillo was a key element in keeping the Panthers scoreless for a 14 minute stretch as the Pacers had a 31-2 run to come from behind in the second half. Cuillo tallied a pair of double-doubles in two games on the week as the Pacers finished 2-0. She finished the week averaging 11.5 rebounds, one block, 1.5 steals, and 20 points per game. The sophomore also made a key pull-up jumper with 1:07 remaining in a one-point game to secure the victory over Lebanon Valley.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Miranda Liebtag (Sr., Guard, Cabrini): Liebtag averaged 12 rebounds per game in a 1-1 week for the Cavaliers. The senior was a big part of the defensive effort with 16 rebounds in a win over Brooklyn.
Savannah Purdy (Sr., Guard, Marywood): Purdy averaged 20 points and nine rebounds per game to lead Marywood to a pair of wins over Putt Bradford and Lebanon Valley in consecutive days. She scored 26 points and 11 rebounds with three steals in the win over the Panthers. The senior then added 14 points to defeat Lebanon Valley.
