HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Tennis weekly award winners on Monday, as Pratt’s Pallavi Verghese was named Player of the Week.

Brief Outlook of Week: Verghese continued her dominant season at the top of the lineup, guiding the Pratt Institute women's tennis team to its fourth consecutive 7-0 sweep with a home victory over Marywood on Thursday. Verghese partnered with Srishti Agarwal to secure the team doubles point behind a swift 6-1 win at the No. 1 flight. She was the first to finish in singles action, cruising to a 6-2, 6-0 triumph at the top spot. Verghese remained unbeaten on the season in conference play and has a 7-1 mark at both singles and doubles this season.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Sofi Plotkin, Marymount: Plotkin won big on Tuesday against Neumann to help lead the Saints to a 5-2 win over Neumann. Winning the #1 doubles match up with teammate Avery Defazio, the showed up big time in the #2 singles with a 6-1, 6-2 victory.
