Marywood's Kylie Kilgore wins Women's Tennis Weekly Award

HADDONFIELD, N.J. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women’s Tennis weekly award winners on Monday, as Marywood’s Kylie Kilgore won the Player of the Week award. 

Player of the Week: Kylie Kilgore
School: Marywood
Class: Junior
Hometown: Hughesville, Pa.
High School: Hughesville
Brief Outlook of Week: Starting her junior year off on a strong foot, Kilgore won both her singles and doubles match to lead the Pacers to a season-opening win over SUNY Delhi. She earned a 6-1, 6-0 in the top singles flight, by following up with a strong 6-3 victory in the top doubles with teammate Alexandra Vitale.


Weekly Honor Roll:
Elizabeth Madsen, Immaculata: Madsen won her singles match in straight sets 6-2, 6-2, and won her doubles match with her partner 6-4 in Immaculata's 5-2 win over Cairn on Saturday.

Penelope Margaritopoulos, Marymount: Margariopoulos had a strong showing in her second career outing for the Saints. Winning her doubles match up 6-2, with teammate Ainur Bekenoval, she went on to win in the #2 singles, 6-3, 6-0. Her wins helped sway momentum to Marymount's side to take down Trinity 4-3.

Srishti Agarwal, Pratt: Agarwal was dominant in Pratt's 6-1 victory over Bard on Sunday to improve to 2-0 on the season. She dropped just one game in a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at No. 3 singles and teamed up with Judith Song for a 6-1 win at No. 2 doubles.
