Marywood's Baronski and Immaculata's Crews Earn Men's Track and Field Weekly Honors

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men’s Track and Field Athletes of the Week on Monday, with Marywood Jack Baronski and Immaculata’s Dylan Crews earning Track and Field Athletes of the Week respectively.

Athlete of the Week:
Name: Jack Baronski
School: Marywood
Class: Junior
Hometown: Peckville, Pa.  
High School: Valley View
Brief Outlook of Week: Baronski broke the school record in the 800 at the Shippensburg this weekend. He ran a 1:57.78 to take 18th place overall. Baronski finished ninth in the 1,500 with a time of 4:04.72. Both his 800 and 1,500 times top the Atlantic East performance lists.

Field Athlete of the Week:
Name: Dylan Crews
School: Immaculata
Class: Junior
Hometown: Philadelphia, Pa. 
High School: Cristo Rey Academy
Brief Outlook of Week: Crews finished 2nd in the long jump with a personal best jump of 6.28 meters or 20'7.25" in the Last Chance Invitational hosted by West Chester

Weekly Honor Roll:
Branden Soubik (Sr., Gwynedd Mercy): Soubik led the Griffins to a ninth-place tie (T9th of 15, 19 points) at Elizabethtown Blue Jay Tune Up with his second-place finish (52.79) in the 400-Meter earning eight points and his sixth-place finish (23.31) in the 200-Meter earning three points. He also his teammates for a four-point, fifth-place finish (44.60) in the 4x100-Meter Relay.
