Immaculata's Dozier and Marywood's Kalinich Tabbed Men's Track and Field Athletes of the Week

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men’s Track and Field Athletes of the Week on Monday, with Immaculata’s Elisha Dozier and Marywood’s Will Kalinich earning Track and Field Athletes of the Week respectively.

Athlete of the Week:
Name: Elisha Dozier
School: Immaculata
Class: First Year
Hometown: Chesapeake, Va.   
High School: Oscar Smith
Brief Outlook of Week: Dozier competing at the Ursinus College Track & Field Festival finished third in the 200-meter dash with an Immaculata outdoor program record time of 22.19 seconds. Was a member of the 4 x 400 relay team that finished fourth with a time of 3:42.21.

Field Athlete of the Week:
Name: Will Kalinich
School: Marywood
Class: Junior
Hometown: Scranton, Pa.  
High School: Holy Cross
Brief Outlook of Week: Kalinich placed second in the javelin with a throw of 158 feet, 7 inches (48.33m) at Misericordia Invitational. He placed fifth in the shot put at 39 feet, 1 ¼ inches (11.92m) and seventh in the hammer at 106 feet, 2 inches (32.37m). Kalinich's performances are currently ranked first in both the hammer and javelin in the Atlantic East.

Weekly Honor Roll:
Tyrin Hawkins (Gr., Immaculata): Hawkins placed fifth in the shot put at the Ursinus College Track & Field Festival with a throw of 11.59 meters or 38'0.25".

Nolan Kozera (Fy., Marywood): Kozera finished first place in the 100 dash at the Misericordia Twilight Invitational. Kozera race to an 11.19-second finish to run the fourth-best time in Marywood history. He was second place in the 200 dash in 22.97 seconds. His times currently rank second in both events in the Atlantic East.

Hezzy Ntube (So., Marymount): Ntube put up a third place finish in the discus at the Bison Classic hosted by Gallaudet with a mark of 35.99m, also placing ninth in the men's shot put with a mark of 9.79m.

Samuel Struggs (So., Marymount): With a sixth place finish in the men's 100m dash at the Bison Classic, Samuel Struggs (11.29) broke the school record in the event. The day before, against primarily Division I talent at the Dalton Ebanks Invitational hosted by George Mason, he picked up a time of 23.45 in the 200m dash.
