Marywood picked to win AEC Men's Track and Field Championship

LANCASTER, Pa. - The 2025 Atlantic East Men’s Track and Field Championship is set for this weekend, May 3-4, at Gwynedd Mercy University. 

Heading into the weekend, Marywood is picked as the favorite with 278 points. The pre-championship poll was done via a mock meet with results available in TFRRS. 

Marymount was second with 278 points, followed by Gwynedd Mercy in third with 97 points. Neumann was fourth at 53 points, with Immaculata in fifth at 43 points and Pratt in sixth at three points. 

Gwynedd Mercy’s Victor Cruz comes into the meet with the top times in the 100 meters (10.84), 200 meters (22.04) and 400 meters (49.11). 

Marywood’s Jack Baronski is tops in two of the distance events, the 1500 meters (3:55.87) and the 5000 meters (14:43.47). 

Gwynedd Mercy’s Tyson Scheitrum is tops in two throws events, the discus (128-6) and the hammer (132-8).
