LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men’s Track and Field Athletes of the Week for all events through March 24^th, with Gwynedd Mercy teammates Branden Soubik and Christion Johnson sweeping Track and Field Athletes of the Week.

Athlete of the Week:
Name: Branden Soubik
School: Gwynedd Mercy
Class: Senior
Hometown: Lansdale, Pa.   
High School: North Penn
Brief Outlook of Week: Soubik earned a fourth-place finish in the 200-meter (23.96) and followed that up with a sixth place finish in the 400-meter (54.36). The senior led the Griffins to a 13^th team placement at the West Chester Purple and Gold Invitational.

Field Athlete of the Week:
Name: Christion Johnson
School: Gwynedd Mercy
Class: Junior
Hometown: Middletown, Del.  
High School: Monsignor Bonner
Brief Outlook of Week: Johnson finished 10th in his first appearance as a member of the Gwynedd Mercy track and field team with his Javelin throw of 34.44 meter at West Chester Purple and Gold Invitational.
