LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Men’s Lacrosse weekly award winners on Monday, as Cabrini’s Connor Herraiz and Immaculata’s Matt Ludlow earn Player and Defensive Player of the Week Honors.   

Player of the Week:
Name: Connor Herraiz
School: Cabrini
Class: Sophomore
Position: Attack
Hometown: Succasunna, N.J.
High School: Pope John XXIII
Brief Outlook of Week: Herraiz had an exceptionally productive week, producing 13 points by way of 10 goals and 3 assists. His knack for the back of the net was highlighted by a stretch of four consecutive goals, all scored by Herraiz, in the first quarter against Eastern. He'd total 6 goals and 3 helpers in the game after a 4-goal showing against Catholic.

Defensive Player of the Week:
Name: Matt Ludlow
School: Immaculata
Class: Sophomore
Position: Goalkeeper
Hometown: Willow Grove, Pa.   
High School: Upper Moreland
Brief Outlook of Week: Ludlow had a combined 31 saves, and five ground balls in lead Immaculata to a pair of wins during the week.  He had 14 saves, and two ground balls vs Delaware Valley on March 20th, and had 17 saves, and three ground balls in leading Immaculata to a 7-6 overtime win over King's College on March 22nd.

Weekly Honor Roll:
Nick Flamma (Sr., Attack, Gwynedd Mercy): Flamma was a major factor to help the Griffins extend the win streak to three games. He reached career-highs in goals (6) and points (8 ) in the Griffins' 20-4 win at Bryn Athyn . He also recorded three ground balls and two caused turnovers.

John McCormick (Jr., Faceoff, Immaculata): McCormick played a pivotal role in the possession battle, collecting 23 ground balls and winning 33 total faceoffs across two games for Cabrini. His impact was most seen against Eastern, as he'd win 24 of 34 faceoffs and gather 17 ground balls to curb the Eagles' comeback attempt.

Brandon Verderber (Sr., Attack, Centenary): Verderber tallied five goals for the third time this season with 19 to date this year. The senior assisted on two additional goals in the Cyclones lone game of the week against Purchase.
