Marywood's Mulherin and Elash Sweep Women's Soccer Weekly Honors

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women's Soccer Players of the Week on Monday for the week ending on October 15th. Player of the Week honors go to Marywood’s Riley Mulherin, while teammate Mila Elash was named Defensive Player of the Week.

Brief Outlook of Week: Mulherin scored four goals in the Pacers' two Atlantic East victories this week. She scored the lone goal versus Cabrini off of a Julia Rodriguez delivery in the 47th minute. Mulherin produced her second hat trick of the season with three second-half goals in a 7-0 win over Centenary.

Defensive Player of the Week:

Class: Sophomore
Position: Goalkeeper
Hometown: Carlisle, .Pa.
High School: Boiling Spring
Brief Outlook of Week: Elash had six saves in back-to-back clean sheets in a pair of wins over Atlantic East foes. She made a save against Centenary, rushing the top of the key to preserve the shutout. Elash made five stops in a 1-0 victory over Cabrini, including saves in the 79th and 88th minutes. The Carlisle, Pa. native has a scoreless run of 136 minutes, 41 seconds.

Weekly Honor Roll:
Bethany Beinlich (So., Forward, Gwynedd Mercy): The Griffin captain scored the lone goal of the Red and Gold's 1-0 AEC win over Immaculata University. She finished the week with four shots, splitting them between league games at Marymount University (T, 1-1) and versus the Mighty Macs (W, 1-0).

Breanna Harkins (Jr., Forward, Marymount): Harkins scored her second goal of the season to help Marymount pick up its second conference win of the season on Saturday against Centenary. The Saints currently sit in a tie for 3rd place in the conference standings.

Hannah Mockenhaupt (Jr., Goalkeeper, Marymount): Mockenhaupt surrendered just one goal across two conference matches last week while nabbing 10 total saves. In a road shutout at Centenary on Saturday, Mockenhaupt recorded an impressive eight saves to pick up her third shutout of the season.

Madisson Ronn (So., Goalkeeper, Gwynedd Mercy): Ronn made 13 saves in a 1-1 tie versus Marymount and three saves in the first half of a 1-0 win over Immaculata.
