Offensive Player of the Week: Name: Victoria Tzitzis School: Marywood University Class: Sophomore Position: Forward Hometown: Marlboro, NJ High School: Marlboro Brief Outlook of Week: Tzitzis led a spread out Marywood offense that scored 11 goals in their 2-0 AEC week with two goals and two assists, helping the Pacers secure the top seed for the AEC post-season tournament in the process. Mid-week, Tzitzis scored the final goal in a 3-0 win against Cabrini on the road before adding a goal and two helpers in a 8-1 win over Centenary Saturday afternoon. Defensive Player of the Week: Name: Rebekah Becker School: Marywood University Class: Sophomore Position: Goalie Hometown: Gardners, PA High School: Homeschooled Brief Outlook of Week: Becker made four saves in a 2-0 week for the Pacers, setting a new Marywood consecutive scoreless streak for goalkeepers in the process. Until Centenary's late goal Saturday, Becker did not allow a goal for a program record 547:14 without allowing a goal, edging Meghan Coyle's 2010 record of 546:25 consecutive scoreless minutes in goal.
