Eddahiri, Becker Garner Women's Soccer Weekly Honors

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced the Women's Soccer weekly awards on Monday afternoon, naming Salma Eddahiri of Centenary University offensive player of the week and Rebekah Becker of Marywood University defensive player of the week. 

Offensive Player of the Week:

Position: Forward
Hometown: Jersey City, NJ
High School: Hudson Catholic Regional
Brief Outlook of Week: Eddahiri tied the school record for single-game points (11) while helping the Cyclones set the school record for team single-game goals (16) in a win at Valley Forge. Eddahiri finished the game with four goals and three assists. She had two goals and one assist in the first half as Centenary sprinted out to a 10-0 lead at the break. Eddahiri added two goals and two assists in the second half.

Defensive Player of the Week:
Name: Rebekah Becker
School: Marywood University
Class: Sophomore
Position: Goalie
Hometown: Gardners, PA
High School: Boiling Springs (Homeschooled)
Brief Outlook of Week: Becker made three crucial stops lift the Pacers to a 1-0 win over Eastern University in their only action of the week. It marked the first time in 11 tries the Pacers have defeated Eastern. Becker led a defensive unit that only allowed six shot from the Eagles' attack, limiting them to just three shots on frame, all of which she stopped for her first clean sheet of the year.
