Scranton, Pa. — Marywood University divers Kenny Sawicki and Kyla Harbodin swept the Atlantic East Conference Women's Diving Championships on Sunday. The swimming portion of the Atlantic East championships will resume next week, beginning on Thursday, February 12 on the campus of St. Mary's College of Maryland.
Opening up the morning, Sawicki took home the gold in the 1-meter dive, scoring 168.25 points, edging out the 166 points of teammate Harbodin. However, Harbodin would take home gold in the 3-meter dive with a score of 222.75 points, with Sawicki totaling a score of 169.2 points from the same height. The last conference champion for the Pacers came in 2020-21 via the 200 butterfly by Gabby Cholish.
Heading south, the Pacers will fill out the field of six for women and five for men, to begin the swimming portion of the 2026 championships.
