St. Mary’s City, Md. - After two days atop the ranks, Marywood dropped to third, with St. Mary's and Marymount taking the top two spots.
In the 400 IM, Marymount’s Lillian Crawley posted a 4:44.99, earning the top podium spot. She was followed by a duo of Seahawks from St. Mary’s, with Kai Vera Judge touching in 4:52.15 and Jesse Slingluff posting a 5:00.95.
Kelsie Miller of St. Mary’s took home gold in the 100 butterfly with a 54.94. Miah Lopez of Marymount secured silver with a time of 1:00.79, with Saint’s Alex Pette posting a 1:01.67, taking home the final podium spot.
Setting a new conference and meet record, Marymount freshman Annabelle Tarrant touched the wall in 1:53.19, earning gold in the 200 freestyle. Over seven seconds later, Mandy Cartwright of St. Mary’s touched in 2:00.97 for silver, with fellow Seahawk Addison Wiley earning bronze via a time of 2:03.00.
The women’s 100 breaststroke saw Ilana Hawkins of Marymount land atop the podium, clocking a 1:08.42. Hawkins was followed by Marywood’s Aubrey Mangan in second (1:11.47) and Cedar Crest’s Rylie Heusner in third (1:12.22).
Addison Mulhenkamp of Marymount took home gold in the 100 backstroke with a time of 59.03, a new meet and conference record. Emerson Young of St. Mary’s earned silver, clocking a 1:00.08, before Alex Pette of Marymount fell third, touching in 1:01.76.
Sunday will see the final day of competition take place, as swimmers will compete in the 1650 freestyle, 200 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 200 breaststroke, 200 butterfly, and 200 freestyle relay.
