St. Mary’s City, Md. - St. Mary's took home the 2026 women's swimming and diving crown, edgeing out Marymount by just 27 points.
Going the distance, Marymount’s Annabelle Tarrant took home gold in the 1650 freestyle. The freshman set yet another conference and meet record, posting an impressive 17:41.22. Tarrant was followed by fellow Saint Sydney Runk in 18:38.69, with St. Mary’s Kai Judge clocking a 19:10.43 to earn bronze.
Marymount’s Addison Muhlenkamp landed atop the group in the 200 backstroke, clocking a 2:09.94, a new meet and conference record. Alex Pette, also from Marymount, secured silver with a time of 2:13.68, while Immaculata’s Ashley Batejan posted a 2:16.18 for bronze.
Emerson Young of St. Mary's took home gold in the 100 freestyle, touching in 52.87. Behind Young was Marymount’s Lillian Crawley (54.19) and Addison Willey (55.42).
Marywood took two of the three podium spots in the 200 breaststroke. Marymount’s Ilana Hawkins sat atop the podium with a 2:31.04. The Pacers then landed second and third, with Camila Gil posting a 2:39.05 and Aubrey Mangan clocking a 2:39.95.
Kelsie Miller, who clocked an NCAA B Cut time in the 100 fly, earned gold in the 200 fly as well, posting a time of 2:09.95. Miller was followed by Marymount’s MIah Lopez (2:15.10) and Marywood’s Kylee Koratich (2:21.50).
Rounding out the night was the 400 freestyle relay in which St. Mary's Emerson Young, Addison Willey, Mandy Cartwright, and Kelsie Miller teamed up to land the top podium spot, combining for a time of 3:35.41. Marymount earned silver, touching in 3:38.11 and Marywood secured bronze, posting a 3:51.70.
The Seahawks have now won back-to-back championships, receiving one NCAA B Cut time this year, along with setting five new records (two individual, three relays).
